PORTFOLIO / WORK

PROJECT VAN BENTHEM
ā
For a project in Hengelo, the Netherlands, I worked on a private house. The starting point was the ground floor with the bottleneck of a long thin living room and an incoherent interior. Here I tried to emphasize the width by giving the walls and ceiling above the new dining area a light blue / gray color. This separated the living room, dining room and kitchen. A simple way to separate all functions from each other without walls, but still leave them in contact with each other. In addition, small adjustments, such as the use of different materials and textures, ensure an interesting and warm interior.
