PROJECT UVA MINDS, WOLFS

A project for UVA Minds in Amsterdam. This has been a collaboration with Wolfs Woonstudio. The design was created in response to the demand for a better room layout. The large hall is used for multiple purposes. This had to offer space for work sessions with children and also function as a lunch room. The kitchen was too small. This was supposed to accommodate about twelve people. Now it has been thrown open and it provides a wider passage. A multifunctional piece of furniture has been designed in the hall. This can serve as storage space, seating space and lunch room. In the context of the theme 'outdoors', a tree has been chosen as a coat rack for the yoga balls. These also hide nicely behind the curtain that will be hung. This curtain is also sound insulating.
